We Love to Help
We Have Experience With…
Behavioural Needs
We provide an excellent support service for children whose behaviour is raising concerns amongst staff in schools. We specialise in the support of children who are disruptive and destructive and can help you overcome problems with children who are truanting or struggling in other ways to engage with learning.
The team of therapists at Emotional Trauma & Support Ltd deliver one-to-one and group interventions which proactively assist children and young adults with the most challenging of emotional needs.
The interventions we offer can be tailored to each specific child’s needs, with particular focus on the root cause of any issue a child is suffering. We also work at the preventative level building children’s confidence, self-esteem, friendship building and resilience
Our training also allows us to support staff in understanding better the inner world of children with emotional trauma.
Early Trauma
The cause of many behavioural issues stems back to early trauma which will later manifest as negative behaviourisms within the school environment. There is often a blurred line between behavioural and mental health needs but Emotional Trauma and Support Ltd offers comprehensive support across the entire spectrum, helping children with low level needs through to the most complex cases involving deep seated emotional trauma which can often be explained in simple terms as an experience that a child has undergone which then overwhelms his or her ability to cope with day-to-day life.
